June 20-22, 2007

Representatives from surface, thin film, and vacuum equipment manufacturers are invited to exhibit at the symposium. The vendor exhibit will be held on Wednesday, June 20th through Friday, June 22nd. Coffee breaks and poster sessions will be integrated with the vendor exhibit. The exhibit will be advertised and open to all CMM users and all departments at the University of Illinois, as well as the off campus community.

Wednesday, 3:30 - 5:30 pm will be the formal poster session.
The exhibit area will be open through Friday noon, but exhibitors who need to leave the conference before then are welcome to leave brochures on their tables for “self-service” browsing. Excess materials will be discarded when the conference closes.

Exhibition tables

Table locations will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of the exhibitor registration form and registration fee of $450.

Included with table:

  • Includes the opening night reception, admission to all technical lectures, and lunches on Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Company listing & description in the conference abstract book
  • Company listing, description, and hot link from conference web site
  • Direct access to conferees during the reception, all the coffee and refreshment breaks, and the poster sessions. These functions will share the exhibition space.
  • Exposure to other prospective customers on campus: Vendor exhibition will be widely publicized and open to the campus throughout the conference, excluding the reception, without registration requirements.
  • Freedom to use your time efficiently: Prefer to skip some of the technical sessions? Call your on-campus customers and set up appointments with them, if you like, when exhibit traffic is low.

Standard table size will be 6’ by 30".  A vinyl table skirt will be provided for each table. A two-foot gap between tables will be provided to accommodate one chair per table, though additional chairs can be provided as long as these are used only for seating and do not create a hazard or obstacle to traffic.

Power (110 volt AC, 7 amp max) will be available at all tables. No other utilities will be available at tables.  

Tickets to the evening functions can be purchased separately: picnic $25 each; banquet $50 each.

Only cash or checks can be accepted and are due by the close of registration on June 1, 2007.

Security

Because of the wide distribution of keys to the building, the security of belongings left in the exhibition area can not be assured overnight. Please remove all valuables from your table each evening, when you leave.

Plans subject to change

Schedules, floor plans, and other details of conference planning and management are subject to change if deemed necessary by the Local Arrangements Committee. Reasonable efforts will be made to notify participants of changes, but exact schedules, table locations, etc. can not be guaranteed by the University of Illinois or the AVS.
